Buyers Guide

Members view buyers guide as an indispensable tool that helps them find vendors for the products and services they need. Your website is the perfect place to make this information available.

With the Buyers Guide module, users can interactively search for service providers or vendors using product category, specialty, region, and other common vendor attributes you define. Search results are displayed in a list with a hyperlink to more detailed information. On the detail page, a link to the vendor's website or e-mail address allows users to follow up immediately on their query.

Vendors can upload detailed product descriptions, logos and other images, as well as classify their offerings online. You decide what information is relevant to your members' buying decisions and should be included in the guide. Vendors are able to maintain their directory listings online.

You can also offer upgraded listings, providing vendors a choice of premium or regular listings.

Access to the guide may be limited by security provisions, making it a members-only benefit. Your buyers guide can then be used as an incentive to join your association.

Note: There is no e-commerce component to the ISGweb Buyers Guide. If vendors are charged for advertising in the guide, the financial transaction can be handled online as part of an application for associate membership or treated as the purchase of a "product."
