Press Release
Members Can Edit Existing Event Registrations with ISGweb for iMIS Version 2.3
Meeting Module is Free for Associations with iMIS Public Views or eSeries
Rockville, MD (March 23, 2010)—Meeting attendees who have previously
registered for an association event can now go online and modify their
registration using the latest version of ISGweb for iMIS. This new capability,
called Edit Registration, is included in version 2.3 of the Meeting Setup &
Registration module of ISGweb.
Editing an existing registration is useful for
annual conferences and other major events where people pre-pay for a general
registration during the early registration period, and then come back at a later
date to select session specifics. It is also useful for companies that register
a group of people without knowing who will be attending; they can go back later
to specify names and other details.
With Edit Registration, registrants can
open an existing registration and:
-
Add or change functions, including choosing different concurrent sessions.
-
Pay fees for additional options (or get credit if they remove functions).
-
Add or remove guests.
-
Change their special needs or demographics.
-
Reprint
registration confirmation, receipt and itinerary.
-
Change details on their
badge, check in and print badge(s).
"This enhancement gives associations the
ability to make registering for meetings work the way members want it to," said
Phil Varady, vice president of ISG Solutions. "Members expect to be able to
register and then make these kinds of changes themselves, seeing results
instantly. Associations have not been able to deliver this online without costly
custom programming. We're proud to be able to offer associations this
functionality and we're delighted to be making it available for free."
Pricing and Availability Associations that are using the iMIS association
management software and have the Public Views or eSeries meeting modules can get
the Meeting Setup & Registration module free.
The Meeting Setup &
Registration module is one of the 10 ISGweb modules that ISG is making available
for free to associations that have the related iMIS Public Views or eSeries
modules. The other free modules are Membership Directory, Leadership Directory,
Events Calendar, Dues Renewal, Product Catalog, Unified Login & Create Account,
View & Update Profile, Administrator, and Company Management.
ISGweb version
2.3 will ship in June 2010. The software is free; associations need to pay for
implementation, as well as maintenance and support starting in the second year.
