ISG Solutions Continues to Improve Technical Support;
Introduces ISGweb Client Resources Site
Rockville, MD (October 15, 2008)—ISG Solutions announced that its new ISGweb Client Resources Site is now
available to ISGweb clients. This portal provides an ongoing resource that
allows clients to access documentation and extensive support resources, as well
as to connect with other users to share ideas about how ISGweb can be used in
their association. The ISGweb Client Resources Site offers:
Documentation – A comprehensive Administrator's Technical Reference Guide is
available online, with information about how to configure options, explanations
of common errors, frequently asked questions, and commonly used scripts.
Resource Libraries – Detailed technical guides, release notes, fact sheets,
and product overviews are available. The list can be sorted by type of document
or module to make finding the right information easier.
Live Site Walk-thrus Library – Screen shots uploaded by clients show how
different associations are using ISGweb, and provide a forum for sharing
solutions and accomplishments with others.
Client Contacts –Members of the Client Resources Site are asked to identify
what modules and versions they are using, along with what components have been
customized. This lets clients contact each other in reference to modules they
have in common and exchange ideas.
Hands-on Training for Administrators – a meeting website provides a place for
attendees of the upcoming training to meet ahead of time, discuss the planned
agenda, and make suggestions. The next training is currently scheduled for
October 15, 2008 from 1pm to 5pm in Washington, DC.
"This opens up a whole new realm of communication for ISGweb clients," said Beth
Lilienstein, vice president of ISG Solutions. "We are empowering clients to help
themselves to information they need, and providing a framework for them to share
solutions with each other, to spark ideas they can take back to their own
association so they can get even more out of ISGweb."
The ISGweb Client Resources Site is built with Microsoft Office SharePoint
Server 2007. "Using SharePoint makes it easy for clients to find information,
browse, dig deeper, and contribute," added Lilienstein. "Since ISGweb also takes
advantage of SharePoint, it is a familiar interface for them, and it provides
all the community and collaboration features we were looking for in this
portal."

ISGweb for iMIS is a software suite of data-driven web modules for
associations with an intuitive solution for members' interactive online
activities, from e-commerce to collaboration, all powered by real-time
integration to the iMIS association management software. The three core modules
are required: Login Web Service & Create Account, View & Update Profile, and
Administrator. eCommerce modules include Subscriptions, Donations, Dues Renewal,
Chapter Dues Processing, Events Calendar, Meeting Setup & Registration,
Membership Applications, and Product Catalog. SharePoint & iMIS
modules include
